ABC's 20/20 anchor Elizabeth Vargas has entered rehab for alcoholism.  Vargas released a statement yesterday regarding her decision to enter rehab.According to the nydailynews.com, Vargas entered rehab a few weeks ago, which explains why we haven't seen her on the air lately.  Vargas hopes by speaking out about her struggle, she can help others get the help they need as well.

Like so many people, I am dealing with addiction.  I realized I was becoming increasingly dependent on alcohol.

Like so many others, I will deal with this challenge a day at a time.  If coming forward today gives one other the person the courage to seek help, I'm grateful.
