‘Veronica Mars’ News: Jerry O’Connell is the New Sheriff of Neptune
'Veronica Mars' is currently filming and about to make an appearance at Comic-Con 2013 this Friday, but the all-star cast keeps growing. The latest addition is Jerry O'Connell, who will be playing Sheriff Lamb. But not that Sheriff Lamb.
‘Snowpiercer’ Trailer: Chris Evans Will Lead the Revolution
Bong Joon-ho's 'Snowpiercer' is opening (at least internationally) right before Neill Blomkamp's 'Elysium,' and it's interesting that two world-class filmmakers are using science-fiction to address the inequalities in the world. The "Occupy Wall Street" movement obviously sparked a lot of imaginations.
‘The World’s End’ Featurette: On Working with Edgar Wright
You might have guessed from his previous work, but Edgar Wright is a perfectionist, and as Simon Pegg says in this new featurette about 'The World's End,' "you can't argue with perfection."
‘Pacific Rim’ Trailer: It’s Nearly Time to Cancel the Apocalypse
Guillermo del Toro's 'Pacific Rim' looks like the fevered dreams of a kid who stayed up too late watching Japanese movies and cartoons, and we mean that as a compliment. The film is set to open in a little over two weeks, and now there's a new trailer that plays up the stakes.
‘Captain Planet and the Planeteers’ Movie is in the Works
'Captain Planet and the Planeteers' was a mildly popular, environmentally-friendly cartoon that ran from 1990 through 1996. A ‘Knight Rider’ Movie is in Development
'Knight Rider' was a popular TV show (albeit briefly) that ran from 1982 through 1986. In it, David Hasselhoff's crime-fighting Michael Knight was partnered with a talking car named KITT. And now it's ready to become a movie.
‘Kick-Ass 2′ Trailer: Hit-Girl Asks, “Ready to Go Again?”

‘Independence Day 2′ Dated for 2015 and More Fox Schedule Changes
Fox has begun slot-calling their summer schedule for the next two years, which makes them conservative compared to Marvel and Sony. 'Independence Day 2' has officially been dated for July 3, 2015, among other changes and updates to their schedule.
‘The Lego Movie’ Trailer: Chris Pratt Leads a Great Assembly of Talent
The best thing and the worst about making 'The Lego Movie' is that there's never really been much of a narrative to Lego toys. You put them together, that's it. So the film could be about anything. And from the trailer, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller ('21 Jump Street') have fun with that freedom as we see the crossover of Lego toys from all different franchises assembled... for something.

Video Games ‘Far Cry,’ ‘Rabbids’ and ‘Watch Dogs’ Are Getting the Big Screen Treatment
Though most efforts to transfer video games into feature-length films have been a bust, it's no surprise that Ubisoft is looking to bring their most popular titles to the big screen. The company already has 'Assassin's Creed,' 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon,' and 'Splinter Cell' in the works, but they're now working on 'Far Cry,' 'Rabbids' and 'Watch Dogs' as well.
