Automaker Nissan Now Has Its Own Signature Scent
You've heard of that new car smell, right? Well, Nissan is hoping you'll soon be smelling that Nissan smell when you visit an auto show or Nissan dealership. Yes, they've created their very own signature Nissan scent.
The scent, called "the vert oriental" in French, will be unveiled this week at the Detroit auto show. According to Automotive News, Nissan has been working on scent marketing for about a year. Scent marketing is already used by some hotels and stores. What will "the vert oriental" smell like? Something like green tea during Chinese spring harvest. Nissan is hoping Nissan dealers will start using the signature scent in their showrooms. Good idea or ridiculous?
