Buffalo Head Restaurant For Sale Again

Once again, one of Central New York's favorite restaurants if for sale. According to Pavia Real Estate, you could be the proud owner of a decades-old restaurant.

The Buffalo Head is famously named for the stuffed bison head immigrant loggers used to identify it during train stops in the 1920s. Since those days, the restaurant has also operated under the names Morrison's Inn and Lockwood Inn. For decades the Buffalo Head was made famous for its large portions and reasonable prices. You'd never leave the restaurant hungry, you'd leave with plenty of leftovers.

According to John Jweid of Pavia, the restaurant went back on the market at the beginning of 2017. Over the past two years, the newest owners have made several improvements and upgrades Some upgrades include approximately $80,000 for a new septic system, newer entrance with handicap ramp, new rooftop HVAC unit that works along with the HWBB system. You'll also notice that the dinning rooms have new paint, lighting and the main carpet was recently updated.

The famous restaurant is currently on the market for $574,900. It's a famous busy location, and with that price tag comes a staff ready to serve Central New Yorkers for years to come. New ownership took over in fall time of 2015, and have been running the restaurant over the past year. The Buffalo head is currently open Wednesday - Friday from 4PM - 8PM, Saturday Noon - 9PM, and Sunday's Noon - 8PM.
