A Central New York family is fighting their insurance company after their children helped get a lifesaving drug passed for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. They say their insurance company refuses to cover them for the medicine.

It's a really devastating condition - hydrocephalus, also known as water on the brain. It can happen at birth, or at any age. It can cause brain damage, and if untreated can even be fatal. It may be rare, but the outcome takes an extreme toll on the patient as well as the whole family.
The only urgent care facility in the city of Rome has been closed for several months. The Mohawk Glen Center for Community Health had posted a sign last summer that it was closed for vacation. However, after several months the facility has still not reopened.
