It's time for 'Fright Nights at the Fair! Don't miss out on one of the largest Halloween attractions in Central New York. Good news, it will open for the season this weekend at the New York State Fairgrounds. Plan on getting spooked in the Fair's Beef Cattle Barn and surrounding areas from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Sundays.

The event will continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October. Enjoy all five haunted attractions on more than 12,000-square feet of spooky hallways, with costumed characters and special effects. Hop on the haunted hayride and hold on tight as it will rumble among darkened Fairgrounds buildings along a trail transformed by live actors and Halloween props. Now the haunted houses and the hayride can be very scary at times and are not recommended for kids younger than 9. So if you dare, explore all the haunted attractions on the fairgrounds and climb aboard the hayride for just $20.
