It's an age-old answer to the question, what do you want to eat? But now "I Don't Know" is an actual name of a restaurant. And that's brilliant.

So the next time someone in Rochester answers the question "what do you want to eat" with I Don't Know. They may be headed to the new I Don't Know Chinese restaurant on Genesee Street in the city's Mayors Heights neighborhood.

According to the Democrat & Chronicle,

Owner Jessie Dong said she was inspired to name the restaurant by that moniker because whenever she would ask her three children what they want to eat, they would respond with "I don't know."

When it came to naming a restaurant, the family didn't know as well, thus the name I Don't Know Chinese Restaurant, Dong said.
