Get ready for round two. After several inches of snow fell yesterday, another storm will dump up to 10 inches today according to the National Weather Service.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM FRIDAY

* LOCATIONS...Portions of Central New York including Oneida, Onondaga and Madison Counties.

* ACCUMULATIONS...6 to 10 inches through tonight. Localized amounts of more than 12 inches are likely over Western Oneida and Northern Onondaga Counties.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel due to snow covered roads and blowing and drifting snow.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...In the teens today, falling into the single digits tonight.

Lake effect snow showers will likely be intense enough to drop 1 to several inches of snow per hour for several hours. Visibilities vary greatly and can drop to zero within minutes. Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your car in case of emergency.
