Due to the NFL labor dispute the NY Jets have announced they will not be coming to SUNY Cortland for training camp, this summer. If you are a Jets fan who has visited this upstate region in the past, or had plans to this summer, don't let the cancellation deter you from a trip to Cortland. Held during the final week of July, the 50 Mile Garage Sale follows the

Hope Lake Lodge, on the grounds of the Greek Peek Ski Resort, is the home to Cascades Indoor Water Park. With a wave pool and indoor water slides like the rapids, you'll drenched like a Jet player after a two-a-day workout.

Celebrate the Music of Ronnie James Dio
Hard Rock musician Ronnie James Dio, who was a member of the bands Rainbow and Black Sabbath, grew up in Cortland. Dio was a graduate of Cortland High School and a member of the school's hall of fame. A street off of Central Ave in Cortland is named in his honor, Dio Way.

I'm not exaggerating….this is the worlds best coffee! And the ice coffee is…..well, it is the reason for living. I am only in Cortland NY in the summers, but I look forward to the coffee all year long. The employees at all three locations are so nice too! Coffeemania Rocks!!!!
It's only appropriate that Cortland, known as the Crown City, would be the king of coffee in New York State.
August 13 the streets of downtown Cortland are turned over to the trucks of yesteryear with the Brockways invade for the Brockway Truck Show.
Brockway trucks were built in Cortland until 1977 and their history and importance to the community is commemorated annually.
