Can you imagine living to be 117? All the things you would see, all the experiences you would have (that is of course, if you keep on living and enjoying life). It seems like Misao Okawa is doing just that.

She celebrated her big birthday (a day early) with her family, and even had some cake. (See? Cake can't be THAT bad for you!) Of course everyone is wondering what her secret is to a long life. She responded with, "I wonder about that too." According to NPR,

Last year, Okawa said her longevity might come from her love of sushi and sleeping. Today, the folks at Guinness bring us this update:

"'Mrs Okawa eats three large meals a day and makes sure that she sleeps eight hours a night,' Tomohito Okada, the head of the Kurenai retirement home where she lives, recently revealed.

Three big meals and sleep... could that be the big answer we're all looking for?

Misao Okawa has been known as the world's oldest person since the Guinness World Records certified it a few years back (in 2013).
