Beth thinks she could be the world record holder in pairing socks. Managing three kids and countless loads of laundry, she's had a lot of practice over the years in reuniting stray socks with their long-lost mates.

If there were a Guinness record for navigating around strange cities, I believe I could compete, as I seem to have an innate understanding of geography. Plunk me down in Tuscaloosa or Tucson or Teaneck, and I'd manage to find my way around.

Everyone's got some obscure, hidden skill. How else can you explain Ashrita Furman, who holds the world record for slicing the most watermelons in half on his own stomach in one minute? (26, in case you're wondering, with a samurai sword.) So, what's YOUR special skill or hidden super talent? Some Facebook respondents:

  • Donna is a champion fitted sheet folder.
  • Dawn says if there's something missing, she can find it.
  • Kimberly says she's great at doing "all aspects" of laundry...even putting it away the "same day folded."
  • Krystal excels at "putting things together, like tables. chairs, desks, etc."

I feel a Beth & Dave Odd Skills Olympics in the making.
