Olympic Committee Strips Lance Armstrong Of His Medal

That bronze medal Lance Armstrong won at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia is being stripped from him.  The Olympic Committee  has asked Armstrong to return his medal.

The Olympic Committee’s  timing seems like more than a coincedence.  Oprah will air an exclusive  interview with Armstrong tonight and tomorrow night.   While she hasn’t released the exact details, she seemed to hint Tuesday that Armstrong admitted to doping and lying about it.  According to CNN, the decision was made “in principle” at a meeting of the IOC executive board.  Armstrong was stripped in October of his seven Tour de France titles.   The interview airs on Oprah’s  OWN tonight from 9-10:30 and tomorrow night at 9.  Will you watch?  Have you lost respect for him?
