It's back: The fourth annual T.E.A.L. Walk in Whitesboro to bring awareness to ovarian cancer, and raise money in the fight against this deadly disease. You can be a part of this fantastic cause coming up in September.

Each year the T.E.A.L. Walk grows and grows (and we're sure it will continue to grow in the coming years). It's probably because it's for such an important cause that oftentimes gets overlooked... Ovarian cancer.

“T.E.A.L.” has two meanings – teal, being the color recognized with ovarian cancer, and what “T.E.A.L." actually stands for, which is “Tell Every Amazing Lady.” This means to tell other women about the warning signs, precautions, and other information about ovarian cancer and bring awareness to the disease.

Registration is now open for this year's walk, which will be held at Whitestown Town Park in Whitesboro on Saturday, September 8th. The event will start at 9am with different activities and raffles, and will be followed by the opening ceremonies at 9:45am. Around 10am the official walk will start. You can register by visiting: TealWalk.org/Whitesboro

The whole event is very moving, as you'll meet those who've suffered from the disease, and those who have lost loved ones to it. But everyone comes together to bring awareness, to share their stories, and to raise money in the fight against ovarian cancer.

If you can't make it to the walk, but would like to still be a part of the event, you can always donate online at: TealWalk.org/Whitesboro and/or sign up to be a "virtual walker."
