Downey, who's busy these days promoting his latest flick Iron Man 3, jokes in the GQ article that at 48 years old, even if he doesn't win an Oscar directly, the Academy will have to give him one when gets old.  The Iron Man movies have been a huge success, which begs the question, will he stay on board for more Iron Man movies?  Downey isn't sure, saying "how many follow-ups to a successful follow-up are actually fun?"  Unlike the past five years, he currently doesn't have a contract to continue with the Iron Man franchise.  I think he's great as Tony Stark and am hoping he stays on board for many more.  Iron Man 3, which finds Tony Stark trying to avenge his losses, opens in theaters on May third.  Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow also star in the film.  Can't wait to see it!
