Dear celebrities: We know we give you a hard time because you live your lives in the limelight and beg for our attention so you can make more money, but we have to say, you melt our icy hearts you when you use your powers for good and not evil. Especially when you help some kids in the process.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the brainchild of actor Danny Thomas now championed by his children Marlo and Tony, is a hospital in Memphis dedicated to helping children “fight cancer and other deadly diseases.” And while the work St. Jude does is incredible, even more incredible is that the kids' families are never asked to pay a dime for the care their little ones receive.

The hospital is now celebrating its 50th anniversary of saving lives, which means there’s no time like the present to pull out all the stops when it comes to fundraising.

In the past, we’ve seen Marlo Thomas' celebrity friends like Jennifer Aniston, Robin Williams and Morgan Freeman support St. Jude in PSAs and live events, but this year the stars have come out in droves to shine a spotlight on the hospital's amazing work and the phenomenal kids who smile through their ordeals.
