On tonight’s (May 17) results episode of ‘American Idol,’ which determined the Top 2 for Season 11, Joshua Ledet was eliminated and sent home. It’s the end of the road for Ledet on ‘Idol,’ but don’t fret for him. He will likely be scooped up to an Interscope record deal courtesy of show mentor Jimmy Iovine as soon as he gets backstage and has a second to breathe.

Hollie Cavanagh was eliminated on ‘American Idol’ tonight (May 10.) She was in the bottom two with Phillip Phillips, but he prevailed, effectively ending Cavanagh’s run on the show.

On tonight’s (May 9) episode of ‘American Idol,’ the Top 4 performed songs by Californians and songs they wish they’d written. With a pair of boys and a pair of girls remaining, things are intense and in PopCrush’s opinion, the boys have the edge. We can’t decide which of the two will win because they are both so good.
