Since the 27-year-old British pop star died on July 23 of unknown causes, her dad has already set up the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help others like his daughter deal with substance-abuse. And now he’ll write a memoir.

At the age of 87, the veteran singer is still reaching new levels of success, breaking a pair of Billboard records with the first single from his ‘Duets II’ album.
The last known studio recording Amy Winehouse did before her untimely death in July was a duet with Tony Bennett called ‘Body and Soul,’ which will be on his upcoming album ‘Duets II,’ dropping September 20.
The song was recorded in March at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London, and Bennett has pledged that proceeds from the single’s sales will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
August 24, 2011 Tony Bennett will lead a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, airing on MTV in just a few days. Winehouse teamed up with the iconic singer to record the duet “Body and Soul” for his upcoming "Duets II" album, and Bennett will make his first appearance on the VMA stage since 1993 to pay homage to the singer. Bennett will introduce the segment, which is set to include footage from their recording session together.
The toxicology report from Amy Winehouse’s autopsy is in.
Chris Goodman, the Winehouse family spokesman, released a statement saying, “Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present, but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death. The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October.”
