Last week, a video of 29-year old Sarah Churman’s emotional reaction to hearing for the first time after receiving a cochlear implant circulated the internet. Churman appeared on ‘Ellen’ this week, and spoke about the extraordinary feeling of hearing new sounds like her childrens’ voices, thunder and even her husband’s snoring.

The Voice is the break out singing competition on NBC pitting not only singers against each other but celebrity music coaches who are pulling together teams of singers.  The first two episodes of the series consisted of "blind auditions" where singers performed while the celebrity coaches where turned around and could not see the singers...
