Adam Lambert, a self-proclaimed "Joan Ranger," was on E!'s 'Fashion Police' last night (June 10) competing in a contest to take Joan Rivers out on a belated birthday date. And surprise, surprise, he won.

Granted his competition was Gilbert Gottfried and basketball player Darius Morris -- so he kinda had this in the bag.

It turns out Rivers’ grandson is surprisingly adept at the controversial interrogation technique, which he and some friends rather cheerfully applied to his grandmother on WE TV’s reality show “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?”

Joan took it all in stride, and perhaps most impressively, her face remained intact throughout the procedure. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist saying that.
