Kathy Griffin Is Reportedly Replacing Joan Rivers on ‘Fashion Police’
Kathy Griffin is reportedly set to take over Joan Rivers' position as host of E!'s 'Fashion Police.'
Sources told TMZ that the redheaded comedienne's new role is already "a done deal," and she will join Rivers' daughter Melissa, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic on the program. The site also reports that 'Fashion Police' will no longer be a weekly show but will air during award shows, red carpet events and other event programs.
As kindred spirits in the comedic world, Griffin recalled Rivers' heartfelt advice that the veteran comedienne had once given her.
"When you are a woman in this business, you have to hold on until your knuckles are white and they chop your fingers off," Griffin recalled to Anderson Cooper. "Then you hold on by your wrist, then you hold on by your elbows and you never let go."
