The classic boxy mail truck you are used to may be on it's way to extinction. The United States Postal Service is working to get rid of the whole fleet of trucks that have been in service for the past 27 years.
The United States Postal Service today announced they are looking to close 3600 post offices around the country. There are four post offices in Central New York on that list: Westdale in Oneida County, Van Hornesville in Herkimer County, West Eaton in Madison County and Hoffmeister in Hamilton County.
