The Patriot 5K Run And Walk Is June 15th

Put on your running or walking shoes for the second annual Patriot 5K Run and Walk coming up on June 15th.The walk/run is sponsored by the Roman Runners Club and benefits the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 944.  There will be awards for first, second and third place finishers in various age groups.  Race day registration is at 7am at the Wingate, Griffiss Park in Rome.  The 5K gets underway at 9am.  Cross your fingers for cool temps and no rain.  Registration forms available at romanrunners.com.
