Isn't there an expression, "Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?"  Some things we tend to procrastinate more about than others because they're unpleasant and we'd rather not do them at all.

I'll admit to putting off raking leaves as long as I possibly can.  No sooner do I spend what seems like an entire weekend raking  piles and piles of leaves, more fall off the tree and then the ones from somebody else's lawn end up on mine too. It's like you can't get ahead on raking until all the leaves fall off the tree.  But who wants to be the only one on the block with a lawn  covered in leaves?  This list couldn't possibly be complete, but these are some of the common things people often put off doing until they absolutely have to:

-Drawing up a will.

-Writing thankyou notes.

-Cleaning out closets.

-Paying bills and taxes.
