A Favorite Childhood Toy From Christmas Morning
As a kid, nothing is better than Christmas morning. Hoping Santa brought that one special toy you really wanted. Opening those presents and spending the day playing with your new toys. Such happy memories. One of my favorite toys from Christmas morning might bring back some happy memories for you too.
Do you remember the Fisher Price Family Schoolhouse? It came with the big red schoolhouse, complete with a bell that rang. Plus, there was a desk for the teacher, four desks for the kids, five Little People, a swingset, playground spinner, letters and numbers. Oh and a little red bus too. The numbers and letters came in two trays which slid into the schoolhouse and you could also put the numbers on the roof of the magnetic schoolhouse. I’m not exactly sure how old I was when I got this toy but I remember playing with it for hours and hours. Just for fun, I looked it up on ebay and saw it being sold for as much as $129.99! Not that I need to buy it. I still have mine. When I look at it, I’m transported back to that Christmas morning when I first opened it. Just one of the joys of being a kid on Christmas! Did you have the schoolhouse too?
