Big events that will stimulate all your senses await you in Little Falls. And it gets started with a huge festival to celebrate the Erie Canal's 200th anniversary on July 5, 2017.

Water Music NY is a touring concert that features the Albany Symphony performing along the Erie Canal in 7 cities from Albany to Buffalo. They make their stop at Little Falls Canal Place, the arts capital of the Mohawk Valley, on Wednesday, July 5th. Of course the whole community gets involved and turns it into a giant street festival with food, music, art and historical exhibits, kids art activities and more. The festival takes place from 2-6pm. The free outdoor concert takes place on the Canal at Rotary Park/Little Falls Marina at 8pm. The Albany Symphony will debut a piece that was written especially for Little Falls, featuring a 100-voice choir of local singers, including the Mohawk Valley Choral Society.
