At the height of Hurricane Sandy's assault on New York City, much of Lower and Midtown Manhattan was without power.  That was the case at the AT&T Long Distance Building at 32 Avenue of the Americas.

This tour of the studios of Clear Channel in NYC is narrated by Hollywood Hamilton, who does afternoons on 'KTU.  That station, as well as others in the building were dark as there was no power, nor aparently back-ups.  The video does provide and interesting behind-the-scenes look at radio in America's largest city - and would could be the opening scene in any post-apocalypse movie you've ever seen.
