$100,000 Worldwide Travel Photographer Job Could Be Yours
Travel the world and take pictures. It's an actual job description posted by a wealthy family in Great Britain. And they could be looking for YOU.
Sounds like a snap, right? Well, the position requires at least five years photography experience, a knack for capturing lifestyle shots, and the freedom to pack your bags and leave for up to three months at a time. It's a one-year contract, with a possibility to re-up for more assignments. Attention, Matt Ossowski and other notable Central New York shutterbugs: Get your portfolios together.
Some of the places you'll go? According to an advertisement, the family says their employee "will accompany us to events like the Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco and Abu Dhabi, diving in the Maldives, Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Rio de Janeiro Carnival." Sounds like a sweet deal, especially as another CNY winter is closing in.
Here are the important details:
- $100,000 salary for one year
- All travel, food and expenses covered on top of the salary
- 10-hour work days
- 30 paid vacation days and even paid sick days
The first trip is in February of 2019 and the search is on for a skilled person who gets along with the family. A company named Perfocal is coordinating the application process and here's how to apply.
