2013 Utica Road Runners Falling Leaves Road Race

Did watching the Boilermaker back in July inspire you to start running?  A great way to see how you're doing is to take part in this weekend's  2013 Utica Road Runners Falling Leaves Road Race.

The Falling Leaves Road Race will take place on Sunday September 22nd, with both a 5k and 14k race. Start time for the 14k is 8:50, the 5k wheelchair begins at 8:55 and the 5k race kicks off at 9:00.

There is a also a kids run too.  Kids ages 2-7 run a half mile.  Kids ages 8-12 run one mile.  There's no fee for kids and the kids kilometer fun run begins at 8:15.

All the races begin and end on Genesee Street near the Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica.  Typically the temps are cooler for this race, although you can never be sure with Central New York weather.

If you're going for a win, there are also awards for all the races except the kids runs.
