2014 Rock Hall Of Fame Nominees-Peter Gabriel And Chic Make The List

The 2014 Rock Hall Of Fame nominees were announced this week and both Peter Gabriel and the group Chic made the list.And the nominees are.......... an eclectic bunch.  Grunge, rock, disco, pop and rap are all represented in the list of Rock Hall of Fame nominees.

Hall and Oates, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, LL Cool J, Deep Purple, KISS and The Zombies are among the 2014 nominees.   In order to be eligible for nomination into the Hall of Fame, the band or artist must have released it's first album or single at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.

Who will make the cut?  The 29th Annual Induction Ceremony takes place next April in New York City.
