4th Of July Events Going On At Fort Stanwix
Looking to celebrate Independence Day at a site that celebrates America's independence every day? Fort Stanwix in Rome is hosting a variety of activities on Monday July 4th.
There are several events happening all day long:

9:30 –10 am- Memorial Service
Join the community at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honor the Revolution's fallen
10 –10:30 am- Walk Through Time
Discover the history of the Oneida Carry and its role during the American Revolution.
10 –10:30 am- Join the Continental Line
Enlist as a soldier in the 1st NY Regiment of the Continental Line
11 –11:45 am- Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Listen to the words that placed a new nation on the world stage. Period cheers and muskets salutes to the new nation and its supporters to follow.
