98 Seconds with Naomi Lynn: ‘I Live in Central New York, But…’
Just because you live in Central New York doesn't mean you have to embrace all of our stereotypes.
Not everyone who lives in Central New York likes tomato pie...
And you'll see that in the video at the top of this page. For this week's "98 Seconds Video," we played a fun little game, "I live in Central New York, but..." and finished the sentence. Some secrets got out about common things that MOST people like to do in our area, that maybe some of us don't like to or never had gotten the chance to. Same with food, sports teams, events in Central New York, and a handful of other things that may seem like common, popular beliefs, but isn't true for everyone.
Some of the answers ranged from "I live in Central New York, but... I've never had a turkey joint " and "I live in Central New York, but... I've never been to a Saranac Thursday."
Watch the video at the top of this page to see all our answers (and our secrets) about common practices in Central New York, and how we really feel about them.
How would you complete the sentence? "I live in Central New York, but..." What's something that everyone seems to like, but you just don't get it, or you can't stand it? Maybe it's some place you've never been to in the area, that everyone has gone. We would love to hear your answers. You can leave us a comment or message on our Facebook Page: Lite 98.7.
