She was one of three victims - the other two were her boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado, and his roommate Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia. Police believe the murder may have been drug-related, and that the victims knew the shooter.

A source told TMZ that a friend heard gunshots, and went to check in on the couple. TMZ reports,

We're told the friend went into the house, saw 2 bodies -- Mirjana and the bf -- and then called police to report the killings. The friend didn't see the 3rd victim, but did see money scattered around the house.

On Wednesday, cops made an arrest in this case, and believe it may be linked to another killing that happened in the area on Sunday. According to the New York Daily Mail,
Cops on Wednesday busted 19-year-old Emmanuel Jesus Rangel and charged him with three counts of murder in the triple killing...
Authorities are investigating whether the murders are related to a fatal shooting early Sunday at a hotel in Matthews, N.C. In that case, cops found one man dead and a second seriously wounded around 1 a.m. in the parking lot of a Microtel Inn, some 14 miles southeast of Charlotte.

Mirjana Puhar was on the 21st season of "America's Next Top Model," and was eliminated on the tenth episode. It's believed she recently moved in with her boyfriend which she had been dating for a few months now.
