Another Case of Animal Cruelty Against a Cat Near Central New York
Police intervened in an animal abuse and cruelty case in Le Roy, just west of Rochester, and an investigation is under way.
Officers found a cat inside a plastic bin that was shut and sealed with duct tape. Police reached the male tabby in time, so he appeared to be in good health. Good thing. There had been no air holes available on the lid to allow the cat access to a sufficient supply of oxygen.
Police are still seeking information on who put the cat inside the box under stressful and life-threatening conditions. The investigation currently is underway. Any help would be appreciated by the Le Roy Police Department at 585-345-6350.
