Art Walk Returns To Little Falls
There's so much going in Little Falls, the arts destination of the Mohawk Valley, that it's hard to know where to start. The upcoming Art Walk and Third Thursday Events seems like a great opportunity to see what Little Falls is all about.
Art Walk is June 15th, starting at the Little Falls Public Library on Main Street. Right through downtown, you'll find art work from students and more than 40 local artists on display. There will also be a magician performing for the crowds, live music by Clean Street, local artist Christina Korba with an interactive arts project, and lots more.
Easels On The Gogh and Once Upon A Party are offering painting projects (for an additional fee) as well as face painting and a chance for the kids to meet some of their favorite characters.
Harvest Moon Glass and Jewelry will be giving live glass blowing demonstrations. Think Local Little Falls member Chris VanMeter had this to say:
We were so happy to have Harvest Moon join us for our inaugural Art Walk event. They bring something unique to the West Main Street Art Fair portion of the event and we are happy to have them back again this year.
There will also be henna tattoos, animal rescue groups offering an art sale and raffle, and tons of great shops and restaurants offering specials. This is a free community event for the whole family, but there are also really cool shopping and eating opportunities in Little Falls - if you haven't been, this is the perfect chance to take it all in. You can find out more at their Facebook event page.
