The new video game Assassin's Creed: Rogue has missions set around Upstate New York in Albany and also through the Hudson Valley.

IGN, in their review of Assassin's Creed Rogue, they describe the game's locations:

The map sends us around Albany, New York, the frozen waters of the North Atlantic, as well as plenty of small towns and quaint settlements, like the pumpkin-strewn Sleepy Hollow, dotted around.

This is not the first time Upstate New York has served as a setting for an Assassin's Creed title. The third installment of the series was set in Upstate New York's Mohawk Valley between Utica and Albany.

This walkthrough of the Albany mission of the game shows how the gamemakers imagined the city.
