Spring break is just around the corner, but if you can't get to the ocean, maybe you can bring the ocean to you.  Well, not really, but here is a fun activity that you can share with the kiddos.

We lost the legend David Bowie back in January and the music world suffered a horrendous blow.  Tributes poured in from all over the industry.  They were all wonderful, but here is one performed at the David Bowie Tribute Concert at Carnegie Hall last week, that is one of the best renditions of the Bowie's classic "Ashes to Ashes", as performed by R.E.M. front man Michael Stipe with help

Of course some of the best beers in America comes right from the Empire State. So it shouldn't surprise you that 5 New York beers that won medals at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, CO.

You gotta love local theater.  Believe it or not, there is plenty of local talent right here in Central New York, and much of it has gathered together on State Street in Utica to put on this great production. Here is an opportunity for you to catch some of it at a price that is a lot cheaper than catching a show on Broadway.

As we watch the summer come to a close, this is where we usually try to cram in as many summer activities as possible, as we go "Where did the summer go!"  Tons going on right now and coming up...state fair, Inflatable 5k, Labor Day Weekend, etc.  This past weekend we ventured somewhere that was new to us.

2015 marks the celebration of the Peanuts Christmas Special 50th anniversary and the USPS has found a great way to commemorate the occasion with a special series of holiday stamps based on the popular TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

Well, not the real Walter White, or the actor, Bryan Cranston that plays him on AMC's Breaking Bad.  I saw this yesterday and it surprised me, but then I thought to myself, the place is called “Toys R Us”, not “Kids Toys R Us”.

Ok, school has been back in for a couple of weeks now and we are getting ready for open house at Westmoreland Road Elementary.  Here is our chance to speak with our kids' teachers face to face and not through email.
