For your little ones, there's Zippy's Crusade for Kids featuring food,live music, snowmobile rides, and an opportunity to meet Nascar drivers. How about watching some hockey at the Adirondack Ice Bowl, or attending one of 3 winter carnivals in February. Inlet, Old forge, Indian Lake, and Raquette Lake are happening places to be this winter.

Central New York is home to some excellent live entertainment. The Turning Stone Resort and Casino has some amazing shows coming this winter: How about spending a romantic evening at a Brian Adams concert? The hit Broadway musical, 42nd Street returns in February to the majestic Stanley Theater, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is playing the Oncenter in Syracuse.

Attend a Sporting Event

The Syracuse Orangeman are hooping it up, and if you've never been to a game, you're missing out. If you're not a fan of basketball before you attend, you'll assuredly be one after the game. The Utica Comets are back on the ice and Central New Yorker's love their hockey.
