Utica Memorial Auditorium Named One Of The Coolest Rinks

Here's something the Utica area can be proud of. Our Utica Memorial Auditorium has been named one of the coolest hockey rinks in the world.

The Utica OD reports that the Utica Aud ranks eighth on the list of ten coolest hockey rinks in the world. The list was compiled by the pop culture magazine Complex.

The Aud made the top ten for its clean sight lines and unique two layer exposed long-span cable ceiling. Built in 1959, the Aud has recently undergone many renovations, including a new sound system, new video boards, new paint, food vendors and two exclusive areas for Utica Comets season ticket holders.

Pretty cool, huh?
