Where You Can Find the Best Pizza in Herkimer County
As with any county in New York, you have PLENTY of options when it comes to where to go for a good pie. This place however, has been named the best in all of Herkimer County.
And for someone who lives in Herkimer County, I have to admit I've never gone to this place for pizza. I've driven past it many, many times, but I've never made time out to actually try it.
Now that it's been named the best in Herkimer County, maybe I should??
The good folks at New York Upstate have created a list that names "62 Pizza Shops You Should Visit in New York, 1 for Each County." On their list for Herkimer County, they named Yetty's. According to New York Upstate the pizza to try is "The Pile Driver," which is made with double cheese, double pepperoni, and double sausage.
Although Yetty's is known for their pizza, they also carry specialty subs, paninis and wraps, and wings. They even offer burgers and pasta dishes.
Again, I haven't been to Yetty's yet, so I can't say whether I think New York Upstate got this one right or not, but after peeking around the menu (and seeing all those photos of their food), I think I know what I'm having for dinner this weekend! I just have to make sure I save room for an "after dinner coffee," (they're spiked... just fyi), and they sound SO good.
