Betty White Gets Special Exhibit At Comedy Museum Three Hours From Binghamton, New York

Just over a three-hour drive from the Binghamton area on Route 17/Interstate 86, you can experience "the comedic arts in the form of commentary and contextualization of its bodies of work, telling the vital story of comedy in America across all eras and genres of the art form."

Yes, a fun education about comedy at a place you may have never known existed - the National Comedy Center, located in Jamestown, New York. As you may already know, Jamestown, New York is the birthplace of one of the best, if not the best actors in comedy, Lucille Ball.

You may also be aware that the Lucy-Desi Arnaz Museum is also located in Jamestown, New York, currently celebrating 70 years of 'I Love Lucy', but you may not be aware of the National Comedy Center.

It's a non-profit cultural institution that features over '50 Deeply Funny Exhibits,'  and just announced a Betty White Collection was donated featuring rare artifacts, wardrobe, and awards from the estate of the comedy legend, including a Rose Nylund sweater and the Elka Ostrovsky tracksuit from the television sitcom 'Hot In Cleveland', according to the National Comedy Center website.

But there's so much more to see and interact with that has anything to do with the world of comedy at the National Comedy Center in Jamestown including the Carl Reiner exhibit, 'In Living Colour' exhibit, the Johnny Carson archive, and much more.

With the fact that the Lucy-Desi Arnaz Museum is close by, it makes for a fun trip to Jamestown. And we all need a good laugh from time to time.
