It's the perfect excuse to grab the girlfriends, and have a 'girls night out,' - Menopause The Musical: The Survivor Tour will be coming to Schenectady for a great show on Friday, October 30th. What can you expect from a show like this? Well, according to the Menopause The Musical website,

Set in a department store, four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra on sale, come to find they have more to share than ever imagined. The cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they realize that menopause is no longer The Silent Passage, but a stage in every woman’s life that is perfectly normal!

Not only does this sound like fun show, it's going for a good cause, too. First of all, the cast is made up of breast cancer survivors and co-survivors. Plus, a portion from every ticket sold is going to the Susan G. Komen Fund for breast cancer research, education, and breast cancer support.

The show will be on Friday, October 30th at 8pm at the Mainstage Theatre at Proctors. You can get more information, and tickets here.
