Butterball Recalls Ground Turkey Sold in Central New York Over Salmonella Concerns
Butterball is recalling turkey sold at grocery stores around the country because it could be contaminated with Salmonella.
If you bought some ground turkey as a healthy alternative, you'd better check your freezer. Butterball is recalling nearly 80,000 pounds of ground turkey over Salmonella concerns. The turkey was sold in the summer - so you could only have it in your freezer.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-7345” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to institutional and retail locations nationwide.
