Where will kids be safest this school year? Two Mohawk Valley districts are among the safest in Upstate New York.

Niche.com is releasing their school rankings for 2020, including stats like which districts have the best teachers, and which are ranked the highest overall.

This year, among all the districts in Upstate NY, two Mohawk Valley districts are among the safest: Camden Central School District ranks #9 out of all districts in Upstate NY, while the Clinton Central School District ranks #17.

Niche.com considers factors including suspensions, expulsions, absenteeism and school-related arrests when determining the rankings. You can see the full list here.

Clinton Central School stats:

Out-of-school suspensions: 16 (1.2%)

Within Oneida County, Camden is the safest school district, according to Niche.com, while the Town of Webb Union Free School District is #1 in Herkimer County.
