Special 'Be Local' BBQ Coming to Woodland Farm Brewery

What's better than enjoying local food and products, while sipping on an adult beverage? What if the food is barbecue and the event has a 90s theme?

Sounds pretty good, right?!

We thought so. It's almost time for the 4th annual CATALYST Be Local BBQ. This year they're holding the event at Woodland Farm Brewery in Utica, which if you've been to Woodland before, you know that's a big enough reason to go.

But the CATALYST group has come together to make this event even better. Because it's a "Be Local BBQ," you're going to find a lot of local products. And not "local" as in New York State necessarily, but local as in Utica and the Central New York area. Of course you'll get to enjoy some delicious barbecue... Obviously. Otherwise it wouldn't be a BBQ! And you'll get the chance to meet, mingle, and network with some great people.

Oh yeah, we mentioned this earlier, but we think we should mention it again... It's 90s themed. That means you need to get your 90s gear together (like those butterfly clips, JNCO jeans, skorts, and whatever other goodies you have), and come "dressed to impress." Well, maybe not to "impress," but to have fun. Come on, how often do you get to pull out those 90s clothes from the back of the closet and actually get to rock them? This is your chance.

The CATALYST Be Local BBQ is next Tuesday (July 24th) from 5pm to 7:30pm. Cost is $15 in advance (for chamber members), or $20 at the door (and for non-chamber members). Your ticket includes your first drink, some barbecue, and some goodies from the event. Of course, you ARE at Woodland, so you'll want to bring some extra dollars for more delicious craft beers (or wine, they do have that available too), and for shopping from the vendors.
