It may be quite a few months away, but it looks like plans for the third annual 'Tomato Pie Day' are already underway.

We're sure you have your favorite place for tomato pie, but how many places have you actually tried? Do you go to the same place because it's where your family has always gone? Or did you try a few and find one that you like the best? Well, on "Tomato Pie Day," you'll get the chance to try tomato pie from places all over Central New York. Who knows? You may find a new favorite place for this Utica favorite.

Now, the third annual 'Tomato Pie Day' isn't coming up until 2019, so they are still in the beginning stages of planning it. BUT, host "I Love Utica," has settled on a date for the celebration. The event will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 and go from 12pm to 4pm.

Last year, participants for 'Tomato Pie Day' included places like Utica Bread, Charlie's Pizza, Tony's of Washington Mills, Roma's Sausage & Deli, and many others. No information yet if these places will be part of the event again, but we're hoping so.
