‘Days of Our Lives’ Brings Back Fan Favorites

The post office in the fictional town of Salem will be filing plenty of change-of-address forms as several fan favorites return to 'Days of our Lives' starting on Monday September 26.

Two years after getting the budget axe, super couple John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) return to the NBC soap and usher in the return of other long-time fan favorites like Carrie and Austin, Jack, Doug and Julie and Kayla.

DOOL Executive Producer Greg Meng spilled the beans to TV Guide recently saying:

The action kicks off with the dedication of the new Horton Town Square..when...John is arrested....In another twist, we learn that (the late) Alice Horton...died with some huge secrets.
