Locktoberfest In Rome

Locktoberfest, an annual fall celebration in the City of Rome, will take place at Bellamy Harbor Park on October 6 from noon-4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

This year’s Locktoberfest will offer something for everyone and fun for the whole family. There will be live music performed by The Old Main band, a family canal trail bike ride organized by the Mohawk Valley Bicycling Club, free horse rides, craft beer and wine by Copper City Brewing Company, a Rome Art Association art show, a children’s fishing derby present by the Rome Police Department, a Utica Zoo animal booth, an inflatable obstacle course, touch-a-truck, food trucks, and a huge vendor fair.

The family canal trail bike ride will begin at 10 a.m. departing from Bellamy Harbor Park and loop back to the park in time for the start of Locktoberfest. Registration for the ride will take place 8:30 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. at Bellamy Harbor Park and requires all riders to wear a helmet.
