Explosion at Thrift Shop on Memorial Drive in Atlanta
On the heels of the Boston Marathon attack, any explosion will been seen through the lens of that incident. Within the last hour (5:15pm EDT) an explosion occurred at a thrift shop on Atlanta's east side.
Details are very limited at this point, but police and possibly the FBI are on the scene at a strip mall known as the Atlantic Shopping Center.
Atlanta TV station photographer Lloyd Alford captured the first images from the scene.

9:30PM Fox News in Atlanta is now reporting that it was not a bomb that caused the explosion and are deeming this a 'minor event.'
