Gifts You Should Never Buy Mom And Dad

With Christmas just days away, last-minute shoppers are feeling the pressure to finish buying gifts for those on their lists, including mom and dad. But no one wants to buy a lousy gift!

While your parents are probably too polite to tell you if you buy them a lousy gift, here's a rundown of things you probably should avoid buying them according to yahoo, no matter how desperate you might be:

• The "Your Appearance Needs Help" Gift- Nose hair trimmers, Ab glider, etc. nothing says I love you Mom and Dad but get in better shape!

• Jobs Masquerading as Gifts- Buying your dad a tool that he didn't ask for is really just buying him more work to do. Same goes for a household appliance for your mom.

• Gifts Related to Their Passion- This might not sound right, but think about it. If it's something your mom or dad loves, they probably have already purchased everything they would want. I disagree with this though because they may not have it all.

• Perfume or Cologne- Since they're going to be living with the smell for months, if not years, mom and dad need to pick this out themselves. That’s why with my family I tell everyone not to buy me any, considering I buy it on 26^th 90% off!

• As Seen on T.V.- Resist the urge to order that Snuggie or Slapchop. I also disagree with this one because the Slapchop was one of the best gifts I ever bought my Dad! He loves it and uses it almost every day!

Who doesn't love this commerical! "Stop having a boring tuna and stop having a boring life!"
