Golf Tournament To Benefit Utica Youth Bureau

Even though I'm not much of a golfer, just mentioning the game of golf gets us thinking about green grass and warmer weather. There are a number of local golf tournaments for good causes each year, and now the Utica Common Council is planning one to benefit the Utica Youth Bureau.

Here are details according to our sister station, WIBX:

"The Utica Common Council is organizing the City of Utica Council Cup to benefit the Youth Bureau. The bureau provides activities for city residents under the age of eighteen, and has been the victim of budget cuts over the years.

The Council Cup Golf Tournament will be held June 10, 2013 at the Valley View Country Club.  Lunch starts at noon, tee-off time is 1:00pm.  Dinner will follow.  For more information you can call: (315) 794.1509 or e-mail scolosimo@hotmail.com."
